I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
